چکیده :

In an era defined by rapid technological advancement and evolving educational needs, the integration of innovation management within educational institutions has become not only relevant but essential. This review paper explored how structured innovation practices can transform traditional schooling systems into active, future-ready learning environments. Drawing from interdisciplinary literature across education, management, and information technology, the paper examined key frameworks, tools, and models that enable educational leaders to develop cultures of innovation, effectively manage change, and implement sustainable improvements. The paper discussed the role of leadership, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making in fostering a condition for continuous innovation. It highlights how smart schools—those that use digital tools, adaptive learning technologies, and strategic foresight—can respond proactively to the challenges of 21st-century education, such as inclusivity, personalized learning, and global competitiveness. Additionally, the review outlined obstacles to innovation in education, including resistance to change, limited resources, and policy constraints, and presents case studies of successful implementations to illustrate best practices. This paper emphasized the crucial role of innovation management in driving systemic change in education, drawing on both contemporary research and practical examples. It argued that empowering educators and administrators with innovation competencies is critical to building resilient, responsive, and student-centered educational systems. The findings offered actionable insights for policymakers, school leaders, and educational innovators committed to reimagining learning through smarter strategies and sustainable innovation.
